Terms of Service for Real Albanian

Welcome to Real Albanian. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of realalbanian.com and to the lessons, courses, materials and other services we offer. By using our website or purchasing any of our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
1. Our Services
Real Albanian offers:
– One-to-one and small-group Albanian lessons held online
– Self-paced online Albanian courses
– Practice materials for reading and listening
– Translation and other services for expats in Albania
We may change, add or discontinue any part of our services at any time.
2. Your Account
Some services require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. Accounts and course access are personal and may not be shared with others.
3. Payments
Prices are shown on our website at the time of purchase. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers, and we do not store your full card details. You agree to pay all fees for the services you purchase.
4. One-to-One Lessons: Booking and Cancellation
Lessons are booked in advance at an agreed time. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know at least 24 hours before the lesson. Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, will be charged in full. This does not limit your right of withdrawal during the 14-day period described in section 5. If we need to cancel a lesson, we will offer you a new time or a refund for that lesson.
5. Your Right of Withdrawal
If you buy as a consumer, you can withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of buying, without giving a reason.
Courses, practice materials and other digital content. You get access right after payment. At checkout, we ask you to confirm that you want access to start immediately and that you understand you lose your right of withdrawal once access begins. We confirm this in your payment receipt email.
Lessons and live sessions. At checkout, we ask you to confirm that you want lessons to be able to start within the 14-day period. If you withdraw during that period, you pay only for the lessons or sessions already given. Your right of withdrawal ends once all lessons have been given.
How to withdraw. Send us a clear statement before the 14 days have passed, for example by email to info@realalbanian.com using the form below. We will refund all payments due within 14 days of receiving it, using the same payment method you used.

6. Refunds Beyond Your Legal Rights
Online courses: if you are not happy with an online course, you can ask for a full refund within 48 hours of purchase, even after access has started. Just email info@realalbanian.com.
Practice materials membership: once you have confirmed immediate access at checkout, we do not offer refunds. You can cancel your membership at any time to stop future renewals.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including courses, lessons, videos, audio, texts, exercises and practice materials, is owned by Real Albanian or its licensors and is protected by copyright. You may use it for your own personal, non-commercial learning only. You may not copy, resell, share, publish or distribute our content without our written permission.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse our website or services, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, interfering with the website’s operation, or using our content or services for any unlawful purpose.
9. Third-Party Services
Some services, such as legal support and other expat services, may be provided by or in cooperation with independent professionals. Where this is the case, those professionals are responsible for the services they provide. Our website may also link to third-party websites, which we do not control and are not responsible for.
10. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
We aim to provide accurate, high-quality teaching and materials, but we do not guarantee any particular learning result. Our website and services are provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, Real Albanian is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of our website or services, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service concerned.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when they are posted on this page. Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Albania, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection rights you have in your country of residence.
